Axial
Flow Fans are designed to meet large quantities at
comparitively low pressures, and are ideal for
ventilation and air conditioning requirements where many
air volume & pressure combinations are required.
Tube axial fans are particularly useful for handling
hot, moist air or gas and fumes and providing fresh air.
They are used in cement, chemical, petrochemical, paper,
plastic, pharmaceuticals, steel, textile, food
processing and other industries. |

Construction
Details
Casing:
Casing covers the overall length of the motor and the
impeller. It is fabricated from mild steel plates with
connecting flanges at both ends. Casing is also provided with
foot mounting arrangement to facilitate installing of fan on
the ground. an external terminal box is provided (except for
flameproof motors) and casing has one inspection door.
Impeller:
Impeller is of aerofoil section, cast in aluminium alloy,
dynamically balanced.
Motors:
The standard A.C. Motors are totally enclosed squirrel cage
induction type, suitable for ambient temperatures upto 40
degree C. Flameproof vapourtight and other motors can be
supplied on request.
Bearings:
Ball or ball and roller bearings are fitted as standard.
Driving
arrangements: These fans are run either with direct drive
arrangement. In case of direct drive arrangement, impleller
and motor are both mounted inside casing and impeller is
directly mounted on motor shaft extension.
In
case of V-belt drive arrangement, impeller is mounted on a
seperate shaft supported on two ball bearings and plumme4r
blocks inside casing. The motor is mounted on outerside of
casing and shaft is driven with V-belts.
Ancillary
Equipment : The following ancillary equipment is available for
all sizes of fans: coned inlets, wire gaurds, dampers,
matching flanges, anti-vibration mountings and canvas
connectors.
